Maria Desiderata Montana

As a local writer and photographer, I am the author of several successful San Diego food books. For nearly twenty years, I have been extensively published in numerous newspapers and magazines, where I've written a wide variety of food and entertainment stories as well as my own monthly recipe column in the San Diego Union Tribune. I have guest appeared on local radio and TV to share my knowledge of food and cooking, and regularly assist celebrity and high-profile chefs with cookbook projects. 

After a recent sabbatical and retiring my former website San Diego Food Finds, I've decided to return as a local writer, photographer and contributor for all lifestyle-related topics in San Diego. I hope that my personal contributions will continue to be a valuable resource for the local communities.
