October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an international campaign created to increase awareness of the disease, aiming to educate, and promote screening and prevention.

Mavericks Beach Club, in Pacific Beach, will be donating $1 from their Mavericks MargariTATA to local organization, Keep A Breast. The Keep A Breast Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to reduce breast cancer risk and its impact globally through art, education, prevention, and action.

This October will be Mavericks’ sixth year offering this month-long fundraiser, so head to the PB hotspot to show your support through the end of the month.

Mavericks Beach Club is located at 860 Garnet Avenue.
